Graduation Leadership Awards

Each year at Daemen College's Commencement ceremonies, several awards are conferred to selected seniors who have distinguished themselves within the College community, as students with demonstrated leadership. The President's Office, the Student Association, and the Alumni Relations Office each solicit nominations from members of the College community for graduating undergraduate students to be considered as candidates for these unique leadership awards. Nominations should also include appropriate supporting material on the candidate, for review by the committees of these respective awards.

President's Award

Conferred by the Office of the President
A leadership award that particularly recognizes an undergraduate student who has exhibited extraordinary dedication, care, and concern for their fellow students.

NOMINATIONS and SUPPORTING MATERIALS/INFORMATION should be sent to the Office of the President, by April 11, 2014.

Mary Angela Canavan Award

Conferred by the Student Association
A leadership award that particularly recognizes an undergraduate student who has made significant contributions to the betterment of student life at the College.

SELF-NOMINATIONS and SUPPORTING MATERIALS/INFORMATION should be sent to the Student Activities Office by April 11, 2014.

Alumni Senior Award

Conferred by the Daemen College Alumni Association
A leadership award that particularly recognizes an undergraduate student who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the larger community.

NOMINATIONS and SUPPORTING MATERIALS/INFORMATION should be sent to the Alumni Relations Office by April 11, 2014.
