Baccalaureate Awards Ceremony

Graduating students, their families, and members of the College community invited.
The word Baccalaureate is steeped in academic tradition. Some historians date it back to the eighth century. Originally known as a spiritual observance of accomplishment, the Baccalaureate has come to be recognized as an event that celebrates achievement, aspiration, and the completion of undergraduate and graduate careers. At Daemen, we take this time to celebrate academic traditions and perspectives, honoring excellence and achievement well-earned, and to congratulate undergraduate students who represent excellence in each department.
This is a dress up affair! (Academic attire, however, is not required.)
