Independently students develop a timeline by sorting pictures and events in sequential order Students will be able to glue pictures of events in sequential order. Students glue five pictures down on their “George Washington Timeline” in sequential order (according to the appearance of George Washington).

Four point “George Washington Timeline Rubric” based on the following will be used to assess the students’ timeline (On pg. 7):

  • Sorting “Events in George Washington’s life” (Found in appendix E) pictures in sequential order
  • Sorting important events from the “Fill in the Blank Washington Events” Worksheet in sequential order
  • Completing the “Fill in the Blank Washington Events” Worksheet matching sentences to pictures
Independently students complete five sentences of five important events in George Washington’s life. Students will be able to complete George Washington sentences using words given to them. Students complete the “Fill in the Blank Washington Events” worksheet (Found in Appendix F).

 

 

 

 

Independently students match events to pictures to develop a timeline of the important events in George Washington’s life.
