Classroom Set-Up
The seating arrangement in the classroom is designed to limit distraction among students.
The seating is assigned so that students who need to sit closer to the teacher for proximity control or visual problems are located in the front of the room. The rows are separate and allow for the teacher to circulate around the classroom with ease if other students require attention. The activity will be at a small group table located away from the interactive bulletin board so there are limited distractions.

Modification Table
While proximity does control some behavior, it does not work with all students. There are other modifications that are used during this lesson, and are listed in the modification table below. This table was designed to meet the needs of every child in the class. These modifications can be used for all subjects, and apply to every student with focus on specifics according to their IEP’s.
